The Legacy 810e brings a traditional body shape back into the fold: the Dreadnought, arguably the most recognizable of all acoustic guitar body styles, which has more recently evolved into the Grand Pacific (a round-shouldered Dreadnought) elsewhere in the Taylor line. This rosewood/spruce model channels the spirit of Bob’s earliest builds with room-filling volume and projection, complemented by the warmth and treble-range clarity players love in the classic wood pairing. Like other models in the Legacy Collection, the 810e blends the modern with the classic, featuring today’s patented Taylor neck, traditional X-bracing and a straight-ear peghead shape that hearkens back to the company’s Lemon Grove days. Aesthetic appointments reflect Bob’s clean, classic style with white plastic binding, a three-ring rosette in green abalone, non-engraved Large Diamond fretboard inlays in mother-of-pearl, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, nickel tuning machines, and a gloss finish for both the body and the neck.
