The MicroBoom MB5050 by Audix is a carbon fiber 50" miking system compatible with any of the Micros™. This system is lightweight and able to attach to any microphone stand, making it a problem solver for many hard-to-reach miking applications including choir, live theater, and orchestra. It may be used with any microphones in the Micros™ series to provide a broad selection of pick-up patterns, output levels and frequency responses.

A high quality shielded cable is used internally to insure the cleanest audio signal path between microphone and bottom of boom. A stand adapter offers total control over angle, rotation and position of the carbon fiber rod by way of a flexible metal gooseneck. The MB5050 provides an ultra-clean, professional, and elegant appearance on stage while providing exceptional performance and portability. This instrument also comes with microphone (M1250B), clutch assembly, 25' shielded cable and windscreen. Available in white or black finish.
