DP4

The Audix DP4 is a four piece microphone kit for professional recording and live sound reinforcement applications, ideal for capturing drums, percussion and other instruments. This kit includes three i5 cardioid dynamic mics for capturing snare drums, toms, guitars and more. It also includes one D6 cardioid dynamic mic, ideal for kick, bass cabs, and other low-frequency instruments. Also included in this package are three DFLEX mic mounts and a rugged aluminum road case with extra cutouts for adding additional mics.

i5 Microphone

The i5 microphone is versatile for a multitude of uses, including percussion of all kinds, guitar cabinets, and horns, and as a general catch-all for almost any application. The i5's smooth and uniform frequency response of 50 Hz-16 kHz and proprietary VLM capsule technology provide an uncolored natural sound, allowing every musical nuance to shine through. Able to handle sound pressure levels in excess of 140 dB, the i5 can be used in any genre of music

D6 Microphone

The D6 is commonly used for kick drum, bass cabs, and other low-frequency instruments. The D6 has a tailored frequency response of 30 Hz-15 kHz providing a strong low end, and a defined mid-range, with clarity and attack. The D6 capsule also features Audix's proprietary VLM technology for quick transient response, designed to accurately capture natural sound and ensure that the attack is not lost
