Tall Tripod Single Boom Stand System

The Tall Tripod Single Boom Stand System by Triad-Orbit is a unique combination of the Advanced Stand System ready to be utilized in the field in many different applications. It consists of Triad-Orbit's T3 tripod stand, O1-L Boom, and MICRO M2 orbital mic adapter. The system includes additional adapters for mounting a variety of equipment.

The T3 tripod stand can be used in specialized stage and studio applications. It has an air suspension system to protect expensive lights, cameras, and microphones from accidental impact damage. It includes the IO-H6, which is an aluminum lighting baby stud with a stainless steel hex mounting head that's ideal for professional lighting and photographers who want to eliminate the need for a C-stand.

The O1-L Boom utilizes a stainless steel swivel ball that has a peerless range of motion that is smooth, quiet, and stable. The quick-change head included in the O1-L has an industry-standard 5/8” male mounting thread, so you can swap out a microphone (not included) with ease. It also includes a 5/8” female to 3/8” male adapter.

The MICRO M2 orbital mic adapter features the exclusive Compass Point ball swivel housing that solidly secures microphones, cameras, and lights in position for precise directionality.

The T3 tripod stand and the O1-L boom both can incorporate Triad-Orbits IO components using their IO Quick Release Coupler Systems.

Triad-Orbit T3 Tall Tripod

The T3 Tall Tripod from Triad-Orbit features a three-section shaft and is designed to accommodate applications that call for 33.5 to 79" mic placements for stage and studio applications.

Each leg of the stand's base has four ratcheted positions that provide up to 65° range of movement. This allows the T3 to stand on uneven surfaces and allows for stacking, which makes storage easier.

The T3 is also equipped with an IO quick-change coupling system to mate with IO-equipped hardware. This is great for quickly changing microphones and booms without having to unscrew anything.

The T3 also features an air suspension system for a soft release when shortening the stands length. This system is designed to protect expensive studio microphones against accidental impact damage.

Triad-Orbit O1-L Long-Arm Orbital Boom (37.5")

With its proprietary stainless-steel ball swivel and robust build quality, the Triad-Orbit O1-L Long-Arm Orbital Boom makes surgically precise placement of microphones, lights, cameras, or other devices fast and easy in just about every performance scenario, regardless of the venue. The ball-swivel mechanism delivers an unparalleled range of motion (360 x 220°) that's extremely smooth, quiet, and stable. It incorporates IO quick-change couplers for rapid hardware changes without the hassle and delay of threaded connections. This long boom features a large 2.2 lb counterweight designed to increase stability when handling large-diaphragm microphones, bulkier lights, or heavier cameras at distances up to 37.5".

The O1-L utilizes industrial-grade clutches (instead of knobs and thumbscrews) to secure all points of adjustment on the shaft. The knurled metal clutch barrels are coated to provide a comfortable ergonomic grip that yields more torque. With no protruding parts, the O1-L transports and stores with total reliability.

The Micro 2 M2 Short Stem Orbital Mic Adapter from Triad uses Triad's Compass Point ball swivel housing to provide accurate and secure mic placement, and is designed to reduce set up time. The M2 is IO connector equipped for compatibility with Triad's stands and Orbit booms.
