The RC Set "Singer" is customized for the application as a spot or soloist microphone for a singer or speaker.

This set is worldwide generally referred to as the "Pavarotti stand" and is a general standard in concert halls. The pure elegance of the setup offers highest sound quality and at the same time a look that is appreciated by the public and the producers.

A variation of the length of RC and/or STR enables other applications.

The matte gray Schoeps RC Set Singer CMC 6 is a Colette Series cardioid condenser microphone bundle offering elegant visual discretion and pristine audio quality for vocalists and speakers on concert stages.

This plug-and-play set includes the CMC 6 mic amp, the MK 4 cardioid capsule, a foam windscreen, and a mic stand with a 13.8" support rod and a 47.2" active extension tube. The active extension tube inserts between the capsule and the mic amp, allowing the mic to impose minimal viewing obstruction.

The RC Set Singer CMC 6 offers multiple points of angle adjustments and works with 12V or 48V phantom powering.

Schoeps CMC6-U 12-48 Volt Phantom Power Supply and Output Stage for Colette Modular Capsules

The Schoeps CMC6-U is a balanced output stage and +12 to +48V phantom power supply for the Schoeps Colette series modular capsules. The transformer-less output stage ensures low-noise and pristine audio reproduction throughout. The CMC6-U is terminated with a standard balanced 3-pin XLR connection for use with standard microphone inputs and preamplifiers.

Schoeps MK4 Cardioid Capsule for CMC Preamplifiers

The Schoeps MK4 is part of the Colette series of modular capsules designed for use with the CMC preamplifiers. The cardioid polar pattern results in maximum rejection of rear incidental audio signal, eliminating off-axis noise and feedback. The cardioid pattern allows microphone placement to occur farther from the sound source than a pressure transducer of equivalent sensitivity. The MK4 is ideal for both speech and music capturing, resulting in rich detail without coloration. The MK4 is also a viable solution for X/Y or Mid-Side stereo recording.

Cardioid Polar Pattern

The cardioid pattern effectively rejects rear and off-axis audio signal resulting in greater signal to noise ratio and feedback rejection.

Excellent Directional Response

The cardioid characteristic allows the MK4 to be placed at further proximities from the signal source without degradation.

Schoeps RC1200 Active Tube and RG8 Swivel Joint for Colette Series Capsules

The Schoeps RC1200 is an active tube mount designed for the Colette series microphone capsules. The capsule angle, relative to the tube, may be positioned between 0 and 120 degrees. The included RG8 swivel joint mounts the tube to a vertical microphone stand and base (not included), enabling easy height and angle adjustment.

CMC capsules simply screw onto the top of the tube and active electronics provide a pristine signal path throughout the tube and out the XLR connector at the base. The entire mount provides length and flexible positioning for a variety of applications.

Schoeps STR350G Vertical Support Rod for Microphone Mounting (350mm) (13.77-inches)

The Schoeps STR350G Vertical Support Rod is a microphone mount extension rod that may be used with the BF 250 floor stand, or attached to additional support rods for added length and mounting flexibility. The rod features 3/8"-27 threads on each end and measures 13.77-inches (350mm) in length.

Schoeps B-5D Hollow Foam Windscreen for Light Wind Noise and as a close-speech guard (Gray)

Schoeps Microphones has created the B-5D Windscreen in grey is best when used on pressure-gradient transducers in light wind and as a close-speech guard. The foam encloses an air chamber around the microphone capsule, similar to a basket windscreen.

Although not designed for it, it works hand in hand with the MK 4V, MK 41V or MK 4VXS microphone capsules and the corresponding CCM Compact Condenser Microphones. But this microphone cannot be used with MK 6 or MK 8 capsules, or the corresponding CCM Compact Microphones.
