The PDQ-8S snare pad features a noise-absorbing honeycomb rubber insert covered with a mesh head. Carefully engineered vents on the underside of the playing surface allow air pressure to dissipate, further reducing noise. And thanks to the soft rubber rim covering, rimshots are quiet too.
