This composer was inspired to write The Amazing Music Alphabet after seeing her two young children fall in love with the alphabet at school, one letter at a time. They would focus on one letter each week, creating artwork and singing songs in celebration of each letter. She thought it would be wonderful for young piano students to celebrate the music alphabet with the same enthusiasm! The pieces in this collection celebrate each letter of the music alphabet through note reading as well as aural reinforcement, including catchy taglines (i.e., “A is here to stay…”) in the lyrics which students and teachers can sing as reminders of the unique sound of each note. This book will encourage young students to discover how fun and special the music alphabet can be!
