Level 2
Everybody's Guitar Method, Book 2 continues the step-by-step approach of Book 1 that makes learning to play the guitar not only easy, but fun! The careful pacing of the material in the method reflects the vast teaching experience of the authors. Book 2 introduces new guitar techniques while moving into Fifth Position. The innovative 12 Bar Blues section uses an easy-to-play blues riff along with chord accompaniment in several keys to develop ear training and improvisation skills. A detailed fingerpicking section shows correct right-hand technique for playing solos, and accompaniment patterns. The section on musicianship encourages the student to play with a strong sense of melody, while also considering articulation, dynamics, tempo, timbre, and vibrato.  Free downloadable recordings.
