what’s new in firmware 2.0?

• External MIDI Mode 
  • The MPE Arpeggiator and Pressure Glide are now available in External MIDI Mode as well. Both work with every software and hardware compatible with MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE).
  • Osmose now lets you save custom MIDI configuration presets.
• Sound Engine Mode
  • We reforged Osmose's internal preset system, which now supports: 
    • Having up to 2048 presets onboard, each with custom sensitivity and playing feature settings (arp and press glide) if needed. 
    • Adding any preset to your favorite list with the new favorite feature. 
    • A new playlist system to quickly organize groups of presets. 
    • A new navigation workflow in the presets menu to take advantage of all previously mentioned features. 
    • Improved Program Change and MIDI Bank Select (CC0) implementation, compatible with the previously mentioned features. 
    • A new sound bank management system that will allow uploading new preset banks from the OsmoseUpdater software in the future. 
    • Automatically loading the last sound preset used before Osmose was shut down the last time.
• Haken Editor integration
  • For a safer operation with the new preset system, a slightly modified Haken Editor is provided as part of this update
