Northern Lights: An Exploration of Canadian Piano Music Level 2A is a collection of Grade Two repertoire written by Canadian composers  The 30 pieces were carefully selected to represent a wide variety of keys, metre, tempi, and styles. They include jazz (Jazzmatazz), Impressionistic (Snowin’), and traditional (Sarabande). The collection is a useful resource of repertoire for examination, performance, quick study, sight-reading, and fun. In addition, students enjoy each composer’s photo and biography.
