An Exploration of Canadian Piano Music Level Pre A is a collection of Pre-Grade One repertoire written by Canadian composers. The 33 pieces were carefully selected to represent a wide variety of keys, metre, tempi, and styles. They range from majestic and traditional King Tiger to the gentle Kitty on the Keys; from the gigantic Hippo to the tiny Butterfly. Styles range from traditional to contemporary to jazz. The collection is a useful resource of repertoire for examination, performance, quick study, sight-reading and fun, as well as useful glossaries. In addition, students enjoy each composer’s photo and biography.
