The black Avantone Pro MP1 MixPhones are over-ear headphones offering personal monitoring versatility, ideal for use in DJ setups, studio recording, mixing playback, and live stage applications. Their 50mm drivers yield a frequency response of 18 Hz to 25 kHz. They ship with two cables, threaded 1/4" adapters, and a soft carrying bag.
The MixPhones design boasts three modes—standard stereo, a mono configuration, and a mix mode. The mix mode contours the mid frequencies to produce a sound similar to that of MixCube near-field monitors, allowing for better translation when checking mixes.
